A Letter From a Community Cat
Dear Neighbor,
I'm a community cat. I was born here, and this is the only home I've ever known.
I'm not lost, and I don't need to be taken away to be safe. What helps me most are humane solutions - spay and neuter, vaccination, and people who care enough to protect me while allowing me to remain in the place I know.
When communities support proven, compassionate approaches, cats like me live healthier lives, and neighborhoods benefit too - with fewer kittens, less conflict and more stability.
All I ask is to be treated fairly and humanely under the law.
Sincerely,
A Community Cat
A Letter From a Stray Dog
Dear Neighbor,
I'm a stray dog. I don't have a permanent home, and and my safety depends on the choices people make and the systems designed to protect me.
Animal control plays an important role in my life. When agencies are supported and guided by clear humane policies, they can provide care that prioritizes safety, compassion, and responsible outcomes for dogs like me.
Thoughtful laws and humane practices help protect animals, support families, and strengthen the community we all share.
Please remember that behind every policy, ordinance =, and decision is a life like mine, deserving of care and humane treatment.
Sincerely,
A Stray Dog
